Hi there, just wondered if there is any car painters out there? that could give an approx price to paint the guards bonnet and nose cone of a lotus 7 replica.. its a tiny car and sure it won't cost much to paint - the reason I am asking is there is a guy interested in buying my car but doesn't like the silver/grey on the bonnet.. so just trying to get a rough for him how much it would cost to change.

here is the car in questions - note all panels can be removed and are fibreglass

Painting the bonnet is roughly $400-500.
And it will be about $300 to paint every other guard.

I'm no painter, but thats roughly how much it cost me to paint a few things on my old Corolla.

Read that and had an aneurism!

But in reality that is possibly about right for retail pricings.... Old mang got quoted similar money to get the hardtop on his MX5 painted .

general rule of thumb for a average car 250-300 per panel, seeing as its tiny id me guessing 500 tops just for bonnet and front guards.

god damb thats expensive. got my m8 doing whole car for 500 + paint. my advice is keep doing what you are and get someone to do a perk.. even if you ask some of the workers at a paint shop if they are interisted in a perk.
