That's very light for a twin seater Jimco. I would guess my single seater will be around the 1100kg mark, dry. Most US cars broach the 1500kg mark.
The KW that engine is producing is pretty silly as well. Fantastic job but there is little chance of getting it to the ground in a vehicle that light. It will be interesting to keep an eye on it this year. My bet, it breaks, and often.
Shannon Rench is also going down the v6 twin turbo route. He's taking a similar path to myself with a 350z engine. But throwing serious quantities of money at it.
My Nissan engine hasn't had a tonne of money thrown at it. I simply did injectors, rails and custom intake manifold. I'm not expecting to produce anything like the 600kw that Toyota pulls. My Garrets should pull me up to the 650whp mark, but I'll need to rebuild the engine with low comp pistons, rods, cams, etc to gain that much. Expected HP, based on the existing twin turbo kits for the 350z, is around the 470whp mark at 11psi.
Which should be more than enough to scare the poooh out of me. Bugger 600kw I'd have to run it half throttle, or purchase a large colostomy bag.
