no seriously, some people think that by lifting the back of the bonnet like that it helps remove hot air from the engine bay. personally, ill take the performance hit, if any, to not look like a $&#$% idiot

they do get rid of alot of heat esp when u have a very clusted engine bay and works grate as demister!

agreed. done it on the 7, temp is more stable
