URGENT: Help needed finding brake master cyl

Postby eddiewould » Tue Apr 01, 2008 1:07 pm

Hi All,

The workshop my car is with tells me my car needs a new brake master cyl (even though the brakes felt fine to me, wtf?).

They tell me that there isn't one in the country, and even if there was it would be $800. I don't want to pay this much for one, and I would rather not go 2nd hand/get it re-sleeved.

The car is a 1994 ST202 Celica. It is non-ABS, and is superstrut (if that makes any difference to the master cyl). Can anyone help out? I want to get my car back on the road ASAP.

Cheers
Eddie

Is there a reason for that? probably wouldn't cost that much, just want to know for future reference when my project brakes get a spruce up

Coz I have a think about replacing parts with new rather than reconditioned/2nd hand. If it comes down to it I will get it resleeved I guess.
