Kinda OT Toyota in Gran Turismo 5

Postby barryogen » Wed May 14, 2008 4:14 pm

Anyone else read through the spec sheet notice that there are no Toyotas listed as being in Gran Turismo 5?

There is a Lexus IS-F... semi yay.

In other news, it also looks like the Top Gear test track is going to be in the game too :)

and yeah I realise that it is not final, and that they could be adding them, but it seems odd to have none at all yet.

that is gt5 prologue, not GT5.
GT5-P is just like a 'demo' of GT5. Except you have to pay for it. And its about the size of most full games.

If you look in the mazda section of that page, it just has the FD3S RX7, mazda atenza and RX8 Type S.

For the price you pay i wasn't that happy with the prolouge. $60 or $70 and its easily finished.. at least there is the option for drifting in there. the blitz skyline is mint.

Closest to a Toyota is the Lexus (or the lotus elise.. well toyota powered.. i think the one on there is the toyota powered one)

i was happy with prologue, sure it is tiny compared to a full size Gran Turismo game, but it has about the same amount of cars and races as your average car game that you would pay nearly $130 for. The part that gets me is to really play it I am going to need a HD tv and a Logitech wheel
