Hey looking at buying a run about with a standard 2TGEU fuel injected etc.. just wondering how fuel econmoical this if you drive them nice as i heard the suck a bit of gas as much as say a sr20de.. Im just curious on peoples opinions on say how many ltrs to 100kms or watever i undestand that diff ratio gearbox and wheel size has alot to do with it but any opinions appreciated...

Are they just econmical as a 4age etc.. or more thirsty...
Also are most ke 30 parts intrerchangable woth ke36 parts ie. struts etc...

Dunno about 2T's, I'd imagine they wont be as economical as a 4AGE given the age of the ECU etc.

But yes, mechanical stuff will swap between KE30 and 36 sweet as.
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time
OMG so shiny!

I have a 2tgeu in my TE71, with diff ratio 4.1, and ae86 4age, diff 4.3.
2tgeu use a bit more gas than the 4age. From Palmy to Auck, 2tgeu I have to get fuel at Cambridge, with 4age, I get fuel at the big BP on the Auck motorway... this could be because of the diff ratio and/or the engine itself. Both have only 40? liters tank..
