Not really STI's and EVO's seem to go for $15k+ and prefacelift S14's $9k+.
Not to mention they all suck.

They're not. Mr2's are easy to work on, plenty of space in engine bay, nothing other than engine stuff in there, the only annoying thing is having to lean over stuff to work on them (don't get the sore back you get from front engined cars though).
GT-Fours are pricks to work on, gets easier with practice but still sucks. Clutch replacement is fastest done on these by dropping the engine and gearbox out and then separating them - even then, I've heard of people struggling for hours to get the gearbox off or back on to the engine. Once again, there's a knack to it and once you've done it a few times it's not too hard, but how many mechanics have changed lots of gt-four clutches?
