Dude, thats harsh. I hope you're in the clear as far as liability goes. When the Police are involved, they sometimes put a different spin on the story..... You know, because theres a few bad apples in every crowd.
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

hang on, so a cop pulled in front of you and caused you to swerve off the road and crash? or you crashed into the cop?

Thats what I was wondering too Rev.

If it was me in that situation I would have been on the phone straight away to them (Police), report it & hopefully they would be able to identify the unmarked cop car involved & go from there

Dont count your chickens till the insurance company gets the letter. Ive been in a similar predicament with a police car before.. The story changes as soon as they get back to the station!. . .

Exactly.... Read about someone on NZSC who had a similar experience. A cop was in a left lane, guy was in the right lane, cop did a U turn RIGHT infront of him and he plowed into the cop car. Cop admitted responsability on the spot.
Couple days later the guy messaged back on the boards saying that the cop then lied on the report

Ok.

I went to tokoroa to pickup a gearbox i won for $1 that *mite* fit a s series motor and mite work lol, hay its $1 who cares?. Picked it up and going back towards old taupo road a motor bike turns infront of me and me and my partnet both say "$&#$% dumb c**t" next thing i see a car with reflective tape infront of me! jump on the brakes but dout the brakes but road was also wet and had at most 1mtr to stop so that was a fail! hit the cop car dead center or the rear tyre!. cops car will def be repairable honda wont be... The cop admited he was at fault as he didnt indercate to turn down the street infront of us were the motor bike shot down... and didnt have his lights on he has also stated in his report and told the tow truck driver and my parents went to the scene of the crash while they were cleaning up and the same story has been given that the cop hit me. Heres some pics of the honda!

Also got pulled up in my mazda today and the cop asked for licence in witch i replyed
"funny u should ask as my licence is in my honda that is in tokoroa salvage yard cause a cop wrote me off last nite" cops reply "oh ok cya"
