best leads for shipping parts to australia

heya guys -

Anyone here able to suggest a decent company to go thru ( outside of NZ post ) to shiip a WTA setup over to oz for a friend of mine ?

Anyone work with , have links to , or be able to help out with decent rates for packages across the pond ?

i always used nz post, even when sending $2000 TRD gear sets.
Only problems i ever had was at the other end, ozmail.
things like if you send two packages when they guy collects they only gave him one at the other end..... then after weeks of searchin, some one rings him and says "we stil have this pacakage here we told you about 3 weeks ago....."

or on new stuff often customs will charge duty

I sent two V6 cylinder heads to Australia for about $75 each through NZpost/courierpost. They weighed 21kgs each and the box would have been about 70cm x 40cm x 40cm. Both heads arrived to the recipient within a week, although one arrived two days later than the other yet I sent them at the same time so not sure what was up with that.

NZ post do a good job at getting it accros the ditch, its the ozzie side of things thats the issue!
I get stuff sent from home to me (perth) all the time, it gets here fine an really quick.
if its large items try mainfreight

We use cargo express for all or shipping. Ship NZ to OZ in 2 days and vice versa for express parcels, 14 days if by sea
