The Annual Toyspeed Bathurst Bitch, ah... I mean Thread

Postby Mr Revhead » Tue Oct 06, 2009 7:33 pm

So, who's backing who for the great race this weekend?
Will Lowndes and Whincup go four in a row?
Will a miracle see Murph and Skaife win?
What about Tander and Davidson?

and I see on the news that kangaroos should be less of a problem this year, they've done a bit of a cull

Now, before the usual uneducated come along and moan about no GTR's...
Please go and research the facts before spouting out the same tired old lines :P

Oh bring back the GTR's they'll waste them they only banned them because they couldn't keep up blah blah blah.

My money is on the Autobarn car, that thing rules.

Where my money is on it getting in the way at some stage.

Not really too fussed who wins, although I would like to see a Murph victory (even though I loathe the guy he is just so spectacular to watch around Mt Panorama!) but as long as it's some close racing then I'll be chuffed.

Think whincup and lowndes will do it myself, want to see them win beofre they switch teams, unfortunatley the dumbass's at ford went and made it impossible for them to stay with them next year and forced the no1 driver and debateably the number 2 driver in the series and the team they drive for to switch to holden, go damn the idiot at ford who did that

and why should it have a ford badge on it, ford dumped them out of the blue.

If I was going to lay down money it would be on them.

Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

Tander and Davison to me in a shoot out with the Triple 8 boyz Whincup and Lowndes and if the tracks dry goodbye to Murph's lap record in the Shoot-out..

I predict that one car, veeeeeery similar to all the other cars on the track except for a small piece of badging at the front, and bearing little in common with its road going counterpart, will win.

I also predict that owners of cars with the same badge on the front will feel far superior to the owners of the cars with the loosing badge and try to argue that the race win does, in fact, have utmost bearing on the relative performance of the aforementioned road cars (to which they bear almost nothing in common)
