Since Toyota ran out of stock last year demand has been growing for these hard to find pieces. I know there are quite a few people who want one, I have one and spoke to Nite Parts today about the possibility of copying the dimensions of mine and reproducing them from steel plate. These would obviously not resemble the factory ones but would perform exactly the same function and would hopefully be available for around $70 (I am not looking to profit from this btw). As far as I know Brendon only wants to make one run, not offer them permanently.
This is all still to be confirmed with Nite Parts, but we need firm numbers (as in money paid) so that no one ends up stuck with unsold parts.
Anyone keen?
Feel free to add anything if I've missed it Brendon.
