what prices should i be looking at ?

and wheres the best place (pricing) around auckland?

for my e30 wagon

scored one for 50 bucks

local engineer (or if you have engineer friends) would weld it on for a box of beer most likely.

but other than than expect to pay $100-150. if you pay for it to be done, make sure they use a strap around the muffler to mount, don't let them weld to the stainless it will crack and break. and also if you wanted to do it 'properly', get a stainless flange welded onto the tip and a matching mild steel flange welded onto the existing exhaust.
this way you don't get into the welding stainless to m/s mess which most exhaust shops so happily. its not as strong, looks ugly and just yuck.

but up to you and whoever is doing the work really. adding flanges adds quite a bit of cost unless you plasma cut them yourself.

See MR Muffler in Onehunga. He is cheap and does a great job.
