Not aware of the manifold being an issue on GT's?
They're fairly solid & reliable cars; just check for the normal things:
* bearings
* clutch slippage / gears grinding / rough auto trans
* no corrosion in the radiator
* boots & seals are intact. CV clicking
* pannels are straight & paint looks good
I've seen many flick past 200kms without issues.
