Didn't know what hard-parking was, having seen it mentioned a few times before I thought I'd google and got this:
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... rd+parking
Coined by at least by the Honda-Tech mob describing cars that have all the "race"/track mods known to man and beast only to be parked up or never raced.

(which seems to agree with its use in a few US forums that also came up)

Doesn't seem like a term you'd voluntarily associate with? Or does it have a different meaning here..?

I'm still at a loss as to what hard parking is. What makes it different to a regular parkup?

It's hard to get into the car park due to car being so low

Or it's hard for others to park in the carpark due to all the cars there for show

Could be keen just for the secure parking. Already have a two day ticket and will try to give the car a wash although will be driving through from Gisborne.
