That is going to be bloody weird to drive!
How do you hit an apex when the car is so wide behind you? :?

I agree with your comment regarding picking the apex of a corner though, will take a bit of getting used to.

Other than less drag (maybe) what are its benefits?

Looks more suitable for the salt flats than a race track.

Looks rediculously unstable for cornering.

c'mon, ugly is a bit harsh. unconventional sure. but it has some great lines. its kinda like a 70s concept car of the future, and a 2011 concept car of the future at the same time.

remake of thunderbirds maybe?

sounds like it has some pretty serious backing though. will be interested to hear how it goes
