Cut and shut smallport manifold

Postby Lurkin » Thu Jan 19, 2012 11:51 pm

Just wondering (approx) how much it would cost to cut and shut a fwd smallport inlet manifold to convert it to rwd?

I would ring and enquire with appropriate parties.. but I'm currently in another country.

Depends where it's located I guess. But there is at least one person on here (name is evading me atm) that does alloy welding jobs. I'm sure either they will post or someone will recommend them / rough price.

I used to do them all the time for $60 which included cleaning them thoroughly and welding a plate on the side of the plenum to mount the throttle cable.
