Where to buy front cuts?

Looking at doing a 1j conversion in my ma70 and thought it would be easier to get a jza70 front cut so I have all the stuff needed, where would one source something like this?

Still looking for one, it's all go now for the conversion so a front clip would be helpful

Perhaps talk to your local importer. Last time when I was after ST205 motor it worked out cheaper to bring in the whole un-compliable car, than to get a front cut. Although this was at cost since I used to work there...
With whole car there is benefit of mobility, and you are 100% sure you get all the bits you want (say that rear piece of the drive shaft that might be different length). You can part the car, and sell the chassis for scrap metal to recover some costs.

what did you pay for a complete st205 sergei? was it a good car, or a roll over or something?

Even if you get the car for free in Japan and ship it to New Zealand, it will cost you like $3500-$4000. You should be able to pick up old/worn/poorly maintained car or slighly damaged for like say $2000. You would be looking at around $5500 to $6000 delivered to your door after all the expenses. That's based on my previous experience of importing cars.

I didn't go ahead, but it would cost me around $5000 for non-damaged car.
Instead I just got the engine for $1300.

its cheaper if you could find an importer who ships using a container....they could chop the car into two halves so it can be stacked inside a container so its cheaper.

if you could find a cheap jza70 in jap give ewan at hayatonka an email he quoted 1k to ship a whole car in two pieces via container
