Where to buy: 4"/100mm Aluminium with 45deg bend

Postby MrOizo » Thu Feb 23, 2012 6:05 pm

As per the topic.

Around $50 on TM and that seems too steep for something so simple. I dont really was a polished or shiny look which i am guessing more is paid for that?

Do places like Ullrich do these? Where in Auckland is good?

Cheers!

Ullrich are really pricey for that sort of thing. More like U'llNotBeRich

I bought my stuff from this guy - pretty good prices:

Oh wait - you want 4"! Doesn't look like he does it - might pay to ask though?

What's it for, dare I ask?

Ok cheers . Might go tomorrow if i have some time :o

QikStarlie is right. It's for a inlet for the turbo. I could go straight of the turbo with the filter but i guess it would be better to get it away from that area as much as possible.

I thought $50 was reasonable for a fairly large alloy bend TBH
1988 KE70 Wagon - Slowly rusting
1990 NA6 MX-5 - because reasons
2018 Ranger - Because workcar
1997 FD3S RX-7 Type R - all brap, all the time

I dont know of anyone that can bend 4" alloy... Nicely,
most 4" dies for steel and stainless wont work with alloy and leave a ugly bend

Have you tried sta?

I dont think its to badly priced, retail on 3" bends is normally around $30

I know someone like that stocks alloy bends, not sure if they go to 4" or not

Truck suppliers have 5" but not normally 4, if they did id expect prices over $100
