basically looking for a decent cert place in or around auckland to get my supra back on the road, anyone have any good experiences with anyone that wasn't backwards about 'turbo' cars etc.

my mate used the guy down in tokoroa and he said hes great real friendly and willing to help etc, so just wondering if there is anyone closer like that? thanks

Have heard Neil Fraser is a good guy to take your car to.
I took my starlet to John Brett but i dont think he is doing certs anymore

List of certifiers can be found here

I used Neil Fraser for the cert on my turbo KP.
Good bloke, and he sure knows his shit. Can come across slightly surly but he's not really, and if you keep him updated, he's really good to deal with.

Yeah, Neil Fraser is the Toyota guy.
Was told he was the one to go to with modified Toyotas of swaps containing Toyota engines :)

He got me one things which made sense (too thin shaft hoop and more reinforcing on custom gearbox mount)

Went to Neil Fraser, awesome.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
