Toyota Key/remote

The key fob / transponder for my remote has no battery... I got it from previous owner without any battery...

Does anyone know what sort / size battery I need for a 1992 Toyota Key transponder (not the separate remote type, remote is the head of the key)

It's a single button key remote, with the button located on the side....

I'm not 100% certain the remote even works, does anyone know where replacements can be obtained or do I have to go to the stealership??? I imagine I'll have to sell the car to afford a replacement from Toyota, so that would kind of defeat the purpose, lol

It's just for the keyless entry not alarm or anything...

Try a locksmith type thing, Mister Minit etc

Just try through the Toyota sponsor on here, in the for sale section. I did exactly that, but for a 96 Trueno, never used the door lock again.
