Santa Fe - opinions

Postby Dunny » Fri Aug 22, 2014 1:37 pm

Hey Guys

Looking at a car change and looking in the SUV range, Prado/Cruiser too big, Highlander could be an option but not a fan of the V6 only option.

Have been looking closely at the Santa Fe post late 2009 when they had a facelift and engine upgrade, ideally 2010/11, Elite 7 seater model 2.2 diesel. Use would be round town for the family, odd trip up the Mtn and also tow vehicle for my race car for the odd trip to the track during summer.

Any expereince with these either from a owner perspective or servicing perspective, common faults etc

Price is up there pushing ~$30K

Cheers

In laws has one, Pinnacle edition or whatever it's called, turbo diesel, the pick up is amazing, the upgraded sidesteps is shit don't get that.
Other than that it's an OK car, rust spot near the sun roof already and they bought it brand new a year ago.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.
