but dont take my word on it.. they hate paper work.. and yes i know its in nzpc but its a good reference

Interesting point in the Cert Thresholds PDF on the site:

Under "Minor Modifications of OE Engine"

Note that LVV certification is always required for the fitting of a supercharger or turbocharger as a modification, or the substitution of a turbo or waste-gate, or the re-chipping of electronic control units on turbo cars

yep Im all legal... damn that sounds dodgy haha but yeah I had to do alot of research to avoid paying a extra 300 4 the cert when I didnt need 1.

Fitted lowering springs and a semi-loud exhaust are the things they tried to get him to cert!!!

haha and the parcel tray had been cut... u dnt need a cert.. it just needs 2 b repaired

Or as they asked the missus to do with her car - go see an engineer and get them to write here out a thing saying that the structual support blah blah of the parcel tray area hadn't been significantly decreased due to some dickhead who had the car before us cutting big holes for 7x10's.
Didn't cost her anything :) and didn't have to get it fixed either
