Gone Missing, seen today on my new trailer on way home :)

Postby Loudtoy » Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:54 pm

On sunday night my YZF 426 went missing along with my motorbike trailer, if any one is offered one of these cheap or hears of any offered cheap to anyone can they let me know asap. I have all the serial numbers off it so it wil be easy to identify as mine, don't have much hope on the trailer as all that has to identify it as definately mine is the licence plates which are easily changed unfortunately.
So if anyone happens to come across one of these, any year as they probably won't be able to get the right one let me know.
Cheers
Jamie

yeah unfortunately i have a fair i dea who the culprit was, only found out he was dodgey after he had been living next door for about 3 months or so. About a month ago he disappeared from his job and house supplied by his job as a milker and found out from the police that he was in jail, got out on tuesday and my bike was taken sunday. The guy hasn't seen hi parole officer once in the time he's been out and he's supposed to report every day - police are actively looking for him so hopefully when they find him my bike will be there.

Yeah all i got to do is find him a half hour before the police do, then i have a tool box full of heavy and mostly blunt things that would be good for hitting stuff really hard with. I know how much it hurts being hit with said blunt things, must make a note to self to miss hand more often

Yay got my bike back today, only slightly worse for wear not as bad as the guy who fell off it tho  They caught the guys who had it trying to crash start it down the road, good old 426's hard to startness unless you know what your doing :) The guy got such a fright when he saw the cop car that he fell off it on the road, needs a few little pieces replaced but other than that is sweet :)

Right Jimmy, first thing you do, is bloody well engrave your name or your tag on the frame, swingarm, bars, fork, shock, rims and subframe. I have one is you need to use it.

good stuff man, we found the cops up here in auckland very helpful with barry's teins, and looks like you've got "some" good cops down there too. glad to hear you got it back :D

Yeah the cops down here are pretty sweet. I only know of one not so good one, as in power tripping type who think they can put one over you because they are cops - and that was just trying to make them pay for some work was done, on a side note the guy had a hugely varied vocabulary which was amusing for a while :)

Did barry get his teins back, be awesome if he did a 8)

what you need to do now, is wherever you park you trailer, hook it up to the mains, then it will fry the little scumbags if they try to take it again
