Taupo trackday 7/3/08 track 2

Postby skyla » Tue Jan 08, 2008 7:56 pm

Hey guys and gals,
I'm posting this on behalf of the altezza club, I went to their trackday 18 months ago and had a blast, it was a well run day similar to the format to one of chelles trackdays. If you haven't been to a trackday before and would like to give it a try this would be a great event to go to.

I have booked the 2.2Km track for the 7th March 2008, its pretty much fully booked untill then.

COST: $100-00 per car

DATE
7th March 2008. Arrive at the track by 8:30am

RULES
No more than 10 cars on the track at any time
Car must have current WOF & rego
Must have a helmet
Cotton Overalls
Current drivers License
NO IDIOTS
No drifting
If you are seen to be an idiot/drifting, you will be asked to leave immediately
No passengers unless you have a rollcage in the car, and a 4 point harness or better installed.

If you have any questions, or would like an entry form, just let me know flyboy69@orcon.net.nz.

Cheers
Justin.

entry forms are available from http://forum.altezzaclub.org.au/index.p ... d=10729494

Entries close 15th february so can you please have your entries in and paid by then.

So anyone keen?

Hope to see you there

What's the deal with a car with Aerotop (fully removable roof) It'll have a WOF and Rego, but can I still race?

I'm pretty sure it should be fine, but I'll check with the organisers to make 100% sure

Just fyi, if you did want to compete in MSNZ events, you could only compete in events permitted as "clubsport basic", and not "clubsport advanced" or higher, without a homologated roll protection structure.

The full track (track 1) is 3.5km, the track they're using for this day is Track 2, 2.2km
