Make the first corner off the start interesting as hell as well. :P

and.... its not going to happen. 10 is the OSH limit so ten it is. This highlights the need for you all to be CLEAR in confirming your seat for the next round. Lets make it a rule it HAS to be done online or by txt. This way there is evidence and no issue to argue.

Those in the points have right of line in booking a seat followed by those who raced in the current round but not in the one before, followed by Toyspeed members new to the series then lastly your mates/enemies/drug dealers or pimps.

This lasts for 7 days following a race, after which its open to anyone.

If it was my fault ANTS, I apologise... however, it wasn't.

Just giving hard copy notice I'll be there next week.

Good racing again guys - we'll all need to try and drive a little more passively by the sounds of it so we don't get told off again

Hahaha, yes - lots of aggro out there according to the Daytona guys
I think it was more the fact that there were alot of people out there, with 1 second seperating the fastest from the slowest.
Made for entertaining viewing!

Yeah I didn't think it was that bad considering. Richards cart being destroyed probably made them grumpy.

Apparently the head guy, Damo (sp?) was really upset.

Can't blame him too much. There was some very dodgy driving going on.

Think we need to recap on racing rules regarding lanes/lines.... :P

It was good competition with a few incidents :P , thats always going to happen when there are 5 cars going into the first corner at once, all going for the win. It was good watching and was GUTTED to be late.... Arriving just as you guys kicked off.

Looked fun and close a lot of the time, will have to get there early for the next one.

Meh it was the carts fault for being so weak  and they were really upset when i managed to destroy a cart in the middle of the main straight, without hitting anything - they didn't even apologise for the burn mark left on my arm from where part of the clutch assembly decided to go after it left it's housing.
But yeah i agree, if you have the inside line, so long as if you happened to colide you would make front wheel to front wheel contact side by side, you have right of way or "the racing line" other than that it would be no shunting anyone into the hairpin 'just to let you know i'm there'.
It's honestly not very hard to not hit people, the amount of times i tried to past lochlan up the inside into the sweeper and then get hard on the brakes to avoid him because he hadn't seen me coming was in the double digits - and i never hit him once :)
Come on people it's not to hard to stay off each other.
PS I don't think it helped a great deal that everytime there was more than 2 people within 3 meters of eash other they slowed the carts, makes it really hard to get enough speed up to pass someone if just when your about to make your move they put the brakes on :(

Hey guys, i was working at daytona the last two times you have been there and i got to say its always a pleasure to have you all in for your meetings, and i am sorry that you get slowed down (i try my best to only do it when REALLY necacery) but at the same time just to clear things up if we get caught not slowing you down in a hairy situation and a cart gets broken then we get our hours cut to about 6 a week and eventully leave, but im sorry because i know how it will get annoying sometimes. anyway good luck with future races, look forward to your next meet :)

Cheers man.

For a heads up, which stuff would you prefer cut down on?? Not all of us know what we get slowed down for - most of the time in that last one I got slowed down when I was in a relatively uneventful area of the track, at least as far as I am aware of, so don't really know what was going on.

Is it just crashing/bumping or is it also when people are really close together? If so, is it when there is a big bunch - or just TIGHT racing? I did get slowed down once when I was having a battle with someone, though there was no contact etc.... so I wasn't 100% if EVERYONE had been slowed down for something else or it was that.

Anything that can get us just full on uninterrupted racing is good for me :)

yea as i say i prefer to let it go, but we have to slow you down when your coming 2 or 3 wide into a tight corner just incase a guy in front spins and causes a big crash, but we should put more trust in you guys especially as you all are quite talented go kart drivers ;)

Fair enough i suppose, i know a couple of times we were 3 wide coming into the sweeper and there really is only enough room for 1 1/2 carts on the exit to that corner. All good tho now that the left side of the split section is nearly as fast as the right there's a good oportunity to pass there.
Maybe something to add next time to the breifing is if someone is on the inside of you by more than 1/2 a cart they have right of way, not the right to push the guy on the outside into the tires but the guy on the outside shouldn't try and squeeze the inside line either!
