If they see it on the forums, theres an entire possibility they're in another place of the country to even consider it....

It's more a sign of respect to blank the number plates of other peoples cars. Plus you can always opt to have your personal details restricted so that scum can't get hold of it through post office etc

/shrug

Variance in opinion. If I spend the time in taking photos and the like for people, then they get some photos out of it. I'm not really up for wasting time by processing out rego plates. Done that in the past and its too time consuming. Though if possible I try to take images which don't involve plates, which is about as close as I get to negating them.

You underestimate car thieves, or overestimate the minimum standard required to be a forum user.

No and no.

Although I see were you coming from,

I was more meaning your average dickhead with a screw driving stealing that 323 wagon.

Most of those goons don't look twice at a toyota 8)

But if there a pro, looking for a specific car, well then you are correct.

Its my dream to catch someone stealing my car the closest I have come was when someone decided to urinate on it .

I saw him do it went outside at 5.30 am in the morning knocked him out left him lying there for a couple of minutes. So when he decided to move again I went Clint Eastwood on him and said wrong car buddy and wrong neighborhood to do it,if I see you round here again I'll give you 2 choices next time the Police or A&E choose one.
