Who going to lend support to Keith Pun aka NADrifter, Toyspeed Palmy's only D1 Drifter this weekend at Manfeild? The new club banner should be strung up in his pitbay and a few of us with any talent on a tire iron should lend a hand in the pits. The AE86, NOSPIN, looks good already once I finish the updated graphics and get the bodykit back from the painters but it will look even better with his club and friends backing him up.

Saturday at manfeild is his race so lets see a show of hands.

I have to get ready for Sundays show and shine, drop my boy off, airbrush a helmet and prep our bikes for a ride to Waitarere beach after the car show, but I'll still show up.

Who else?

Hey guys,

Unfortunately due to financial and permitting issues we have had to make this weekends Event at manfeild a non spectator event.

We will have full media coverage, so please check out all the magazines and websites and of course D1NZ.com for reports, photos and coverage.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but we will only do this once, but we need to do it to make sure the future of drifting is in safe hands.

Regards,

The D1NZ crew.

Anyone know what this is about?

they must have run into issues with spectators not respecting the venues at their events...

No nothing like that at all.

There are issues between D1 and Manfeild promotions in that permits for spectators werent submitted or subsequently paid for. Manfeild promotions are being hard liners on this and not giving in!
A Mistake to be sure, but a bloody HUGE one as now ALL local sponsors miss out on there paid for advertising on our cars etc and also there are a ton of out of towners intending coming to the event that wont see this message in time.

So... the Kawakawa gates are open until 10am for the teams and crews to gain access then the gates are locked. Thats it.

To get in you'll HAVE to be a part of our Toyspeed D1 AE86 Team now, so let us know if your keen or not.

Ah, yes. If you do have an event where you charge gate (admission) at, you pay a lot more for track hire, maybe it's something to do with that.
