Best you pull your F&#king head in Jimmy and try PM'ing one of us or txting so we can correct our obvious mistake instead of bitching in public. We put enough time and effort into this with grief from our partners over the time we spend. A little help and consideration on your part would go a long way.

Yes that was uber impressive - you don't normally run that quick aye?

Good racing this time, was quite clean considering how tight the racing was and how slippery the track was.

managed a 18.5 or something last time, so yeah, its a big jump up.

Kart I had this time was weird..the brakes sucked, like they wouldnt lock up unles you REALLY jumped on them, so i was braking earlier and slowing down slower.

Maybe that helped?

For what its worth, thats how I normally try and do it - slow down conservatively then start nailing the throttle as early as possible. This time my kart just couldn't do the slow down thing so I was doing something more akin to coasting into sharp corners.

Well i must say that i had a reasonable cart this time round :) Also there are two corners that i find it helps if i jump on the brakes hard for a split second - once coming into the sweeper off the end of the main straight and once coming into the hairpin part of the left hand side fo the split. Both time i lift the inside rear on those corners doing that and it's quite a bit faster than trying to slow slowly in and nail out. Fly in, jam on brakes at turn in point and carry the inside rear through the corner, lot faster and if you think i'm joking ask snoozin about how many time i carried the inside rear through the sweeper :)
PS if somebody can tell me the best way through the hairpin on the right side of the split i'd love to know, i just cant get that corner sorted :?

Big thanks to si and clint for organising it again, awesome. Also to sam for helping out by pressing the stop buttong for the guys as soon as the red comes up and pointing out the shortcut through the pits that i used race 1 :D

So maybe not as bad considering that half of people above set there best times on tuesday 8O
Was slippery race one and the left side of the split never really gripped up but thats standard, apart from that i thought it wasn't bad, and normally people complaining about not being able to lock there brakes aka slighty_sykotic

indicates a reasonable track :)

I'd suggest, but I did keep getting told how wrong I took a variety of corners so take it with pinch of salt.

I carry out wide after the first left bend after the hairpin off the end of the straight and head towards the left corner (not at a sharp angle) of the tires which basically form a box in front of you. I lean on the brakes and turn hard right at such a time that I might possibly almost clip the right hand side of my gokart against the left hand side of the tires which create the "hairpin" on the right split. As soon as I have got this angle (before I actually pass the "clipping point") I am back on the throttle.

I suspect I carry more speed out of this corner and around onto the straight which could possibly be why I find I am carrying too much speed/have too little traction to carry the line you and Richard suggested I carry out of there, either way I will try that line next time I am on a kart there to see how it goes.

There was no jumping on the brakes and getting a sharp turn in for me this time, they were only barely better than engine braking :(

Re: the slippery comment - either my kart had really shit tires compared to everyone else... or everyone else just capitalised better on the straightened out corners. I was FRACTIONALLY off my pace from the last two meets, and really couldn't get the heavy lateral G thing happening I normally can - I just assumed that everyone else was experiencing the same thing at the time, hence being impressed there was little carnage.
