17's for old skoolerz! Rate em or hate em?

yup i have broken the rule.
I have chosen to get 17's for my corolla(pauses for the abuse to subside) sorta by necessity and sorta cause they r mean! I went lookin for somethin different for my rolla than all the supalites and spitties u see everyday. Turns out there aint much new reasonably price stuff that will fit. Check em out. I dont get them for 2 weeks though cause they r still on the boat.

Check the aussie manufacturers site! Im gettin the V-Tek style 17x7.5 pic centre top.

Yes they will have bridgestone or pirelli tyres I think. Quality is no comprimise when it comes to rubber! What do u think? Price is no probs!

Depends on the car, but generally they dont suit them. Perverts suited the 17s but it doesn't look too bad on the smaller wheels its on now.

Never getting anything bigger than a 14 on the 20 or 36

Ahh yeah I forgot to say. They r for my AE70 notchback! Very similar to perverts car but has a boot and cooler front. Check the avatar or my profile!

Yeah I wanted 13,14 or 15 but the choice are so shit and everyone else has the same shit. suppose all will come to fruition when they arrive. I have seen these mags on a TE71 levin and they looked amazing!

Oh and nobody has a recomendation on wot rubber i should get?
Anythin but Eagers! Suppose u cant get em anymore or in 17's anyway 8O

4 sure my mighty 3AU does actually have a vtec kick at 4500rpm! Its cause of the bling custom marley cold air intake! :P :P
Hahaha

Standard engines rule cause u dont need to lift!

Thank god the rims dont have vtech anywhere on them :?

Nice wheels dude, should look good when on.
I think most of us will be suprised at how good they llok when on.

Roughly whats the price range from these guys for wheels?

Quite like the hunters or the titans for the fx. Even more keen if the price is right.
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983

Yeah I reckon that they should look quite good..

Big wheels on old cars don't look to bad in most cases as long as you match the style to the car, and with the big dish they should look pretty good.

If you had of got a really modern style mag or chromies we would probably have to hunt you down and beat some good taste into you :D  :D
