Considering going back to 15" wheels...

Postby DB4G63 » Mon Jan 22, 2007 12:04 pm

Hi All

Been a long time since posting
But its been playing on my mind for a while now.

Purchased my car start of last year, pretty much all done up, but needed some TLC.
Anyway the 17" wheels combined with fairly excess lowering means the ride is well, bloody hard....(yeah yeah toughen up etc...) The roads here are fairly torn up... which equals a fairly hard ride most of the time....(smooth smooth near the railway station tho!)

Anywho...
Am I wrong in thinking shifting back to 15" wheels would give for a better ride, and general handling?

Thought I would ask her since you Dunedin guys actually know Dunedin roads too!

thanks!

Moving back to 15" with higher profile rubber....

Either standard ae101 trueno/levin wheels or some slightly nicer ones if I can swing it.

Im not sure right now what is a decent price for some decent 15s
Im going to ring around some wreckers and perhaps check out mag and turbo ( they sometime have some wheels out back )

If anyone has some trueno/levin alloys sitting around I would be keen...
