I see that they have finally put the ribbed edges on the sides of the motorway from (at least) Green Island to Lookout Point.

Quite cool really, I never realised how much wifey strayed outside the lines, seems to teach you to drive in a more "centre of lane" location.

yeah, by centre, I meant not off to the sides on the shoulder and..err, the inner shoulder thing... not dashed white line down the centre of the car style

i herd of a guy who drove to chch & back on those things when they had them from just north of Timavegas to CHCH. Needless to say the left side of his car was pretty much bald when he got home.
