Indy Karts - meet suggestion

Postby barryogen » Wed Jun 06, 2007 9:50 am

Anyone else notice that there is a new Karting place along KV road?
It's between midway motors and errr, the roundabout where you head up to mornington/roslyn, on the midway side.

I reckon that we should have a Saturday meet there or something :) I'm always keen on a blat round a track, even if it is pint sized, and my weight puts me at a major disadvantage.

Read about that sometime back in one of the local rags. I think its 2 young guys running it, the carts are ex micheal shumarchurs(sp) cart school in germany via the place in was it Timaru that used to run them & is now shut down? Someone will correct me on the finer details im shure.

But yeah definately keen.

One of my workmates went with a group and apparently it is about $20 for 10 mins but the track is just an oval that is so short it is practically a circle.

Anyone else heard anything??

I've spoken to a few that have been and all were disappointed with the boring track...
