SSE meet, Saturday 27th October!

Postby SkylineObsession » Wed Oct 10, 2007 8:53 am

If you've got a Saturday where you're a bit bored or something, pop along to our meet in any type of car you wish without fear of being hassled about it!

DATE: Saturday, 27th October 2007
AT: The Dunedin Ice Stadium, Victoria Road, South Dunedin
TIME: 1pm, departure for cruise at 2pm sharp (good for those ToySpeeders who'd like to go on a cruise for a change).

And the cruises don't involve excessive speeding (or any speeding while i lead the convoy, which should be the case this time) or anything and there are a few photo/talky stops along the way too usually. :)

Hope to see some of you there. 8)

Churable, don't think any ToySpeeders turned up (again). :|

Had eleven cars total, and eight on the cruise. Was one of the best meets we've ever had, as there was a BBQ straight after it - but your (your = Dunners ToySpeeders) loss!

Well, for the record there will be another BBQ at the end of the next meet. :) Weather did crap out a wee bit, a tiny bit of rain at tfirst but then stayed fine (but coldish) the rest of the day, with sunny patches every now and then.

But yeah, it would actually be good to see more than one ToySpeeder at a combined SSE/TS meet for a change - i think our cars are more expensive to run if thats what is stopping ya'll. ;)

Yeah i think my cars chewed through about $12-1$500 in parts & labour this year (not including maininance like oil changes), and not including insurance parts & labour either.
Been an expensive year of car running for me, but last year was rediculosly cheap, not even tires, so guess it equals out.

Perhaps if it is nice to me next year, it will get some nice parts/upgrades
Ending up with spare parts in assembling things since 1983
