Anyone Know Anything About A Race Down South?

Postby celica_xr9145 » Fri Mar 27, 2009 3:32 pm

Just saw a LOT of race cars on trailers heading down south.

Most of them american muscle cars, saw them down micro biology.

Checked the events but no luck.

Anyone know where there heading?

Drift South is heading Deep South this weekend. hopefully the lads won't lose too much power with penguin poos blocking intakes and intercoolers

would be interesting to watch, as the judged section will be seriously fast!!

Yeah I just found it as a 1 liner in the last NZPC.

But haven't heard or seen it advertised anywhere else

Couple of SSE'ers drifting (well, one at least) and there'll be a few of us down there too. 8)

We are meeting up tomorrow morning outside Shell Mosgiel, at 7:30am, and leaving pretty much straight away. So if anyone wants to cruise down with two Skylines and a Toyota Corolla (he doesn't want to join ToySpeed cos he thinks his car is too Nanaish ;)) be there by 7:30!

Brothers Mk4 Supra doesn't have a WoF at the mo so he can't come. :(

Must have been a fair bit on today as there were a heap of dirtbikes heading towards the airport-ish area, a fair few road bikes out and the odd stock car on a trailer too

Good to have ya's tagging along in our wee convoy. :)

Obviously we didn't meet up with you guys at Invers BP after you left - met another SSE'er at the track in his GT-R and got chatting to him as we were leaving. :)

I'll hopefully have a few cellphone vids of the drifting online soon. 8)
