The 26th is a Sunday if anyone is wondering. 8) If you get there early enough you get in for free, at least i have the last couple of times. :D
*cough* Off the record of course. ;) *cough*

Keep an eye out for the SSE car display if you're there, hopefully will have at least 15 cars.

That's the same with Beachlands/Island Park Speedway though. Used to be about $8 for an adult, then went up to about $15 (which is when i stopped going).

Think about it, a few hours racing around in circles for $15 or so (granted it is usually quite fun to watch), or a whole days racing plus more entertainment and faster cars for only $10.

It is only on once a year, so surely $10 isn't going to break any bank balances (not reffering to anyone in particular, only those who think it is too expensive).

I wouldn't say faster dude the Super's out Beachland's pushing 600hp+ .. I know it wouldn't break the bank balance but it's just not my cup of tea..

I would think its all the safty measures in place that made them put up the price. Jeus its a racing event at high speeds, you know the risk...

A few cars entering (including mine) aren't exactly show car quality, so that isn't really a good enough excuse for people on these forums. ;) It's more of a club display than a car display, in saying that though i hope everyone cleans their cars on the inside as well. :?

The problem is that a lot of the FOS thing in Dunedin is a family show, and f'all would notice any mods done to a levin or corolla... The cars I've seen at the toyspeed meets are... gonna get reemed for this... boring to say the least.

Mines no better either.
They're all cool cars, but not exactly "OMFG did you see that car" status.

If anyone wanted to enter some cars, I'd put mine up, but I don't see it as being "that good" to put a bunch of fairly average cars out there as "Toyspeeds best" so to speak, as thats how they would be perceived.

Chur mang. :|

There are at least five or so cars (mine included) in the SSE display which don't fall into that '"OMFG did you see that car" status' you wrote. The best thing about the SFoS car displays is that your car does not have to be show car quality (i.e. something more than suitable for AutoSalon), it just has to be clean, with no primer paint.

You could possibly put up a display in just over a week, as there is more than enough room on the field - i have contact details for an organiser if anyone is interested.

I'm sure if you pass them along to the Dunedin Mod, it'll be sorted... oh wait, there isn't one... is there?

Fang is about as close as we get from my looking, but he doesn't appear to have that "illustrious title" under his name.
