Yeah most of mornington this morning was eithr 4wd or chains only. & even some 4wds were giving up. Its funny how bad most people are at driving in snow.

Saw a funny thing outside my flat on the hill part of union st this morning, asians sweeping the road to try get there car out, was dangerously close to taking out my car. Their technique was absolutely shocking, it was foot to the floor & car spinining everywhere 8O

Meh, I've found one disadvantage of mid-engined - it went great UP Whare Flat, but was very dicey going DOWN the 2 short bits of packed sheet ice you needed to do to get out. 8O

180HP FWD don't work well in snow... ended up driving the Mrs Altezza around in the weekend, left the RunX at the bottom of High St.

Looks like it may be a fun drive home, been snowing on and off all day, but my office faces towards the harbour, so not sure how the hills to home are.

Hey at least urs has a lsd in it doesnt it? My fxgt is bad enough in snow & realisticly its down about 60hp on ur runx, so don't envy ur trip home. Though chains help heaps, if you buy the better quality ones they'll safely do 60-70kph rather than the puny 30kph the cheap ones do. & trust me 70k on snow seems alot faster than it is! especially on narrow roads

no LSD yet, and crappy weather... I'm off home, otherwise it'll take me an age to get there.

Up Stuart St has dropped to a crawl, down stuart st hasn't moved in the last 10 mins.

Thats my brother having a laugh at the ensd of the vid, and my flatmate is the on that says stuart street dunedin.

as for sideways, i ended up snaking most of the way up that street, even though it isnt that noticeable on the vid.
