May monthly meet

Postby barryogen » Mon May 01, 2006 12:59 pm

Seeing as the monthly meets appear to be so successful(well, better turn outs), it seems appropriate to make a thread about the May meet, I'm guessing that Thursdays seem to be good for most if not all, so I propose that it be on the 25th, and maybe make the time a little earlier, as well, it'll be deeper into winter, and probably a bit colder by then.

your thoughts people?

I'll take a night off work to make it since i havent been in awhile.

any time after 530 suits me.

How about a cruise out to portebello via the high road or somewhere for a change?

I'll hopefully have some new stuff to show at the meet, with any luck my new exhaust(s) will be on the car, and also a TRD rear sway bar courtesy of Mr Revhead

Yeah well I will definatley be there. But wether my new mags will be on the car or not is a different thing! Performance wheels Australia have only just sent the wheels today!(7 weeks late). But they are air freighting them cause I put up a big stink! So hopefully next tues? Fingers crossed! Thank god that Curzon have been so good with me hassling them to hassle performance wheels. Derek is the man and has done everything he can to keep me happy! Anyway see u all there and I will come for a cruise this time! Maybe the old North East Valley Northern Motorway to Waitati? I love that road! And its too twisty to race! YAY

Matt has bad memories of that road, that was where he bent the levin. But i agree its a great fun road. Bring on the bends!

But maybe a little dangerous if there's a few of us, ie if anyone follows to close or puts a foot wrong. Cue major carnage!
