Something along those lines anyway (can't remember where i read it).
The New Zealand Superstock Champs are being held at Island Park Speedway (Waldronville, just South of Dunedin/Green Island) this year and has a huge field of 73 or so cars. These are the cars that are allowed to smash into each other too (its what they are built for) so if you haven't been to the speedway in years then you don't want to miss this!

I'm hopefully going to be there (i go to most races anyway) - going to try get there at 3pm or so on both days as want to get a good seat.
The only downside is the cost. $20 for Friday and $25 for Saturday (or $40 for both days). It is a bit higher than normal (normally $12 for one adult) so hopefully it is worth it. I strongly advise bringing your own food though, as they stuff they sell there is WAY overpriced and sometimes overcooked too.
Anyone else keen on going? There are a few decentish cars racing like a 300ZX (won its class overall at the last event - sounds really nice too), a couple of R30/R31 Skylines, Legacy's and so on. Production car classes have barely any Ford's and Holdens and mainly consists of Japanese cars now.
Anywho. Just thought i should get the word out. It is on this Friday (5th) and Saturday (6th)!
