Moving to dunedin

Postby Cicak » Sun Jan 27, 2008 5:52 pm

I'll be moving down to dunedin from auckland, and have just had my car transported by jeffs transporters for $1,147. I read on the forum that they were quite good, so I went with them.

Would be keen on going to meets when I'm down there although I do not know the place (first time going down). So if anyone sees a white levin, who looks lost and confused, it's me

Yeah, doesn't take long to work out where you are when you've been here for a little bit.

Coming down for study are you? Will have to arrange a meet when you get down

Welcome for when you come down.

Vote for a weekend meet, since we haven't had one in like forever. Plan should be to talk shit & then a cruise somewhere, since we seem to be having a decent summer

Might even be a good way to show the new dude around

just out of interest, what was the reason you got your car shipped down instead of driving it down?

it turned out more convenient for me as it was only me coming down by myself so i just decided to ship it down, the parents thought it would be better too.

Just recieved the car on friday, apart from being a bit dusty and dirty, it was in the same condition i left it, and was filled to the brim with my stuff.

Have been hearing lots of loud cars around town just going up and down George Street. Hope it's no one here is it?

Haha, bound to be. Dunedin isn't too bad for noisy cars. If you're out on a Friday/Saturday night around midnight then cruise past Shell on Andy Bay Rd and you might see a few cars. Some weekends there are heaps and others there are next to none.
