So lets all get out our ride and have a meet. Im slightly excited to show off my hardtop coupe as i have some nasty as longchamps comin my way soon and my new engine is lookin supersweeet. Oh and i aint been to a meet for at least a year but thats what happens when ur a family man sigh. No time to myself unfortunatly but hey i can put my foot down sometimes (like when she ain't listening lol)

Does the end of the month suit most people?

I'm easy for any day

Are we going for a Saturday or a Thursday? Getting pretty dark in the evenings lately. I'm not fussed either way

26th?

Yeah I 'd say a sat, 26th sounds good. Nights are starting to get a bit chiily again.

Same place as last time, or somewhere a little more sheltered?

Mosgeil lookout? i think thats a little more sheltered from the wind than most places.

But yeah otherwise ice stadium perhaps.

& where's dave's comments on this, thought he'd be looking to show off the new tezza

I have no net at home, and my boss has blocked it at work for being a forum whore...

although it appears that he's a moron, and hasn't blocked it properly, and I found a way around it.

yeah, well drama with the tezza... actually with the finance. long story short, I'll be picking it up on thursday.

short story long, because my mrs was the one organising my finance, it had to get reviewed by the company doing it, they took a freaking age, and rather than the usual electronic transfer, they paid by something that I think they call a cheque, never seen one before, but apparently in the stone ages they used them instead of the internet and credit cards... guy selling it would take cash only, so have had to wait until it clears before I can get it, which should be wednesday/thursday.

He's smarter than that, all traffic is caught by the ISA server, which requires username/password and logs all traffic... so using a browser to do anything just doesn't work without being tracked...

However...

He does allow un-fettered FTP access to our DMZ, so a little port re-mapping on one of the boxes that doesn't do much means that I can use RDP(RDP on default port is normally logged) to it, and I'm "free"...

So, umm, thus ends the geekness.

So,
Saturday 26th...

At either the usual carpark, the mornington lookout, the mosgeil lookout, or the ice stadium carpark

the usual car park is the only one that has good lighting.

In Arbuckles carpark... Just north of supercheap on the one way heading south.

However because it is a weekend, I suggest one of the other places as they will be open, and it'll piss them off.
