Crash at Andybay lights 17th of Feb

Postby rolla_fxgt » Wed Feb 18, 2009 9:24 pm

Did anyone see the story about the street racing crash at the lights last night?
Some silver impreza got wrapped round a pole, and the other white subaru legacy racing did a runner. Cops are looking for it.

Reason I bring it up is, I almost got taken out by a white legacy wagon tonight coming back from KFC south Dunedin, I was heading north on andybay road, by BMW, when this white subie turned from the other side right at me, must of missed me by cm's, was very deliberate, and rather fast too.
Never seen the guy before, but wonder if its the same car that was dragging last night, and might of driven into the other car causing it to crash.

If you see a white late 80's/ early 90's legacy station wagon with a black panel on the back, give it a wide berth, they drive dangerously. The cops are looking for them, but I didn't get a number plate, so I don't hold much hope of them finding them.

I never heard about this one, but did hear about a Legacy rolling on the drag train a couple of weeks back. Heard it from my girlfriends brother.
Guy at work said he thinks it was stolen though and that the guys were drunk.

Stay away from Subies in general? ;)

Notice how they have both been poorly 'modified'.

1st car has a silver bonnet and a silly sticker on the back window.

2nd car has a black roof and miss matched wheels.

Maybe they have gone mental.

Several people jumped out of the first car and attacked the white car with bottles, a golf club, steel bar and wooden stake.

Apparently it might all be gang related, people trying to get in with the Mongrel mob by provoking fights with people and giving them the bash to get there patch.

How can people have nothing better to do than this? They all deserve to be shot

Yeah students are to blame for everything, global warming, the worldwide recession, 911 etc etc

Most students don't leave north Dunedin at all, maybe as far south as the octagon.

Wasn't it round this time last year that the minister of police blamed the moon and the tides for all the murders, maybe it applies to all madness?

I think stupidity loves company, and all the idiots build off each other

Speaking of students I had to drive through north dunedin several time's on saturday and the standard of driving was diabolical, people just swerving everywhere. Its is to do with the students but not there fault, it is all the parents from out of town dropping their kids off to varsity and all driving around looking at everything but the road with a car full of crap.

Lol yeah I noticed heaps of that too! All out of towners rubbernecking and trying to mollycoddle their beloved children that they are letting loose on dunedin. No wonder all the out of town students go nuts when they get here. It's the first time away from Mummy and Daddy!
