Windscreen needed for 1990 celica

Postby GT4-Addict » Thu Jul 23, 2009 9:48 pm

Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone has a windscreen for a 90's celica that theyd be willing to part with?

Im not 100% sure if i need it yet, mine mayyyyyyyy pass a warrent but im not sure so id like to have something lined up just in case!(Windscreen wiper came off and as a result i have a nice long graze along the window. You cant even feel it with your fingers, do you think it will be able to be buffed out?)

I think they are a generic fit, but just in case:
Its a 1990 st185 gt4

I have been round some of the wreckers and have had no luck so far, and trademe only has anything in the north island, which i may have to resort too depending on shipping costs.

Thanks!

There is the technology to repair those scratches now,

I know that dad's work ( my sponsor) has the new equipment to do it.

Mate of mine is wrecking an st185 celica over in Greymouth. Flick me a pm and i can give you his contact details. He comes over this way regularly so there's a good chance he'd be best bet if you do need to get replacement one at a good price

To save a lot of hassle you could just pop past a WOF place / workshop and ask if its something it will fail on.

Autoglass Timaru, which is part of Total Automotive.

If you want I can ask and make sure it do-able and a price.

Can you email a picture to me rachmat@xtra.co.nz ??

I am pretty sure they have just got the equipment to do the long scratches etc lately as it had to come from overseas and I remember them making the radio adds to advertise it.

If you still need a screen a buddy's parting out a 90-ish Celica. I'll PM you his number (but ring him quick as I think someone's buying what's left in weekend).
