If your interested there is a private truck museum there somwhere,
right in the centre of the city taking up a whole block!.
Mainly old stuff but was very interesting when we were there.
Didn't take my camera bugger it.

Not sure as it used to be by private invitation only when we went through it,
but I heard that it was opened up to the public?

maybe someone down that way may be able to help?

Matt's correct, the Richardson Transport Museum is rated very highly, but i never had spare time to visit last time i was there.

really good normal museum there as well.

grab a rental car and a video camera and make a movie 'The worlds Fastest Rental' filmed on location on Oreti Beach!!

go to Bluff on a southerly and smell the fresh peguin poos whist eating fresh oysters

You should of stayed for the sat night, and the quality night life. would make the hamilton night life look like a good choice.
