thats the one that started out life as an SZ-R and has been converted, was for sale at a dealers in chch (i think) on trade me and people were asking about cert etc and they reckoned it didn't need one blah blah blah, alot of discussion about it on either here or on supraforums.com.au

and the proof is in the pudding thank you Mr Toyota

Yeah, I remember it a couple of years ago for sale at 'Bling Bling' in Christchurch. Luke-SZR's mechanic did the engine conversion around 3 years ago and you are right about the guy not having it certified before selling it to the dealership before this current owner bought it (still un-certified probably).

Another giveaway are the small brakes that usually aren't apparent in late model RZ Supras ;)

P.S. I wish I could find that thread again, but I'm sure it is long lost in the black hole of cyber space... and could I get that link to the vehicle identifier thing please? heh
