well ive seen a fwd Rotor in a mini and jsut last week saw the old green FWD mazda rotor drag car .. try and get hold of one of them and find out what boxes and sh*t they used

QBR

Lawtons 323 FWD dragcar runs a standard 323 1300cc box because they blow them all the time an there way cheaper an easyer to find than anything elce and its not a secret or anything they just dont want people copying there engine mount design.

completely off the rotor subject....but sticking to the mini

theres a guy somewhere in west auck that has put a b16a vtec in a mini...

and i head rumours of a guy in south auckland with a 4wd 13b mazda hatch. he'd designed and built his own 4wd system for it.....food for thought

That rotary conversion is a mazda famila GTX hatch its going to be rwd not 4wd I dont know what parts hes using but I would say it would just be like all normal rwd rotary .

rotary aw11.... thats just f**king stupid, shut your head

Uhm, so a guy prepped it and went to the huge extent to put in it and he failed?

If you're asking on Toyspeed for advice then you're just setting yourself up failure. I got $20 on you giving up.

i have seen a rotor mini.
it was running a 12a with 13b turbo externals and a corona turbo gearbox.
Its not hard to do, you just need to make a bellhousing and some engine mounts

this topic reminds me of the AW11 with a SR20DET in it that i was racing against in the Ashley Forest hillclimb last week

never got a look inside but it did have the intercooler mounted in a cutout part of the rear spoiler :P
