Diagnostic Check

Postby HZRDIZ » Thu Apr 08, 2004 10:33 pm

Does anyone know how to do a diagnostic check on a AE111 Levin so you can check error codes? Also what codes mean what? A link or something will be helpful.
Drinking 42 BELOW Passionfruit Vodka is like walking along the street and seeing this really hot girl and all you can think is "Man, I don't understand how anyone can be gay".

You can use a jumper wire but best bet is to actually to use a test light as you cant do any damage with a test light in the diagnosis conector.

Clip the earth to the battery - and probe the test light into the terminal labeled t or t1 or te1 depending on the model.

turn the key on and count the flashes on the dash. Long flashes then short fashes for first and second digit.

Post you codes as the list i have had about 30 different codes.

Where are these termianls located? And by test light you mean just a light bulb with 2 wires or something more complex?

Under the bonnet there is a small black box ( matchbox size ) with diagnosis on top of it. open the lid and the terminals are labeled
