AE82 fxgt seats into AE85 ? rails ?

was planning on chucking some standard fxgt seats into my ae85 the retro ones with handles on sides, was just wandering if anyone knows if the rails are the same i assume they would be being as most toyo bits are interchangable but anyone else done this or know if they are bolt in bolt out ???

I dont know about the rails but my brother tried the same thing in his old ae86 and found the seats were way to wide meaning they really arent an option.

true, fair enough then just thought if its a straight swap would be keen but if need to do mods to fit them might just go for some different ones alltogether, cheers
