Cleaning 4AGZE Throttle body

Postby Lanius » Mon Apr 19, 2004 9:03 am

Looking at taking off the induction pipe (from cold air to throttle body) and top of the throttle body soon to give inside a good clean ... I've been told that build up inside can cause a bit of smoking on WOT.

Anyone got any suggestions on what to use to clean inside the throttle body?

Cheers

CRC Brakleen is the best. I go through a few cans a day at work degreasing sh!t. Works way better than normal degreaser

I was at the warehouse and saw they have a throttlebody cleaner for like $10. My mate at toyota just uses that breakclean stuff, while its on the car- just wot it and spray- saves on messing around taking it off i guess
