fuel lift pump, recommendations???

Postby rxtoy » Tue May 04, 2004 6:26 pm

i need a lift pump for my lancer, high volume low pressure (i think) to get it to the surge tank. any recommendations???? preferably something cheap and/or easily cannibilised from pick a part

also i've got a walbro 255 litre per hour pump for my high pressure pump, but i've just realised that its set up for an in tank pump, is there any reason why i can't use it externally????

cheers
Matt

and remember being nick-a-part it will only cost you 1 dollar for that trivial item so you can stick the fuel pump in your pocket

do i need something that specialised? like i was thinking wouldn't most carby fuel pumps do to supply the surge tank and i'd just need a high pressure one afterward??

i was hoping that something like a stock AE85/6 or something equally as easy to find would do the trick

cheers
