AE92 Levin => Trueno

Postby Stealer Of Souls » Wed May 05, 2004 1:49 am

Or more precisely the other way around....
Are the AE92 like the AE85/6... just swap the lights and panels and hey presto... you've got the other type?

I ask cause my GF needs a new tail light for an AE92 trueno, and I've found some AE92 Levin tail lights... I saw a Levin the other day and thought, heck, if I can just replace the whole rear cluster, that'd work out fine...

Yes no?

I don't claim to know everything... That doesn't mean it isn't true....

Should be able to swap the rear light cluster, but there were several variations which will require different bits. Older levin ae92's have the rear plate lamps in them while others had it on the bumber- just check out for that and you should be right.
as for the front- afew more pannels need swapping to change to levin...

i thought you wanted your ae92 levin to look like a trueno, that would be wrong, that ae92 shape of trueno were farking ugly!!!,

but yeah i should all swap over, my old 88levin ae92 had the facelift rear lights put in and it looked heaps better, but you may have trouble with the brackets that hold the lights in behind the plastic
